Review on Efficient Trunk Mount Rack for Beach Cruisers: Hollywood Racks Gordo 2-Bike by Jay Koterba

When I read reviews of bike racks, my first criterion was that they fit well on a women's bike. It's a little awkward to mount this rack on the back of my SUV by itself, but I can get by with it (once you've adjusted the straps for your car, each use becomes easier). It comes pre-assembled and the instructions also get 4 out of 5 stars because they are relatively clear and illustrated. The belts can also be easily adjusted in the car. There are a few curved saddles that you can put a bike in, but my bike has square corners on the frame so I just put it next to the saddle and it stays ok because there are rubber tabs through the 'arms'. . I always double check the straps after putting the bike on the rack but I didn't find them loose and after an hour of riding the straps holding the bike haven't come loose either so I have no complaints . Haven't taken it on long trips yet, but I'm sure it won't budge. I have to commend myself for getting all the straps fastened correctly!
