Early morning 6/10/21 around 230. I woke up to the smell of something burning. After searching the house I ended up in my bathroom where this rectifier was plugged in but it hasn't been used for 2 days. Despite not being touched for 2 days, she was hot as a rocket. No lights came on to indicate it was on, but it was. I immediately turned it off and took it outside. (Overkill I know) I brought it back this morning and plugged it in to see if it would happen again and of course without physically turning it on it immediately started heating. This product has been great for 3 months. My first ever and I loved it. Now it has been found defective and endangering my family and home. Revain must remove this from their website immediately and the manufacturer must recall all units sold. DO NOT BUY THIS!
