Beard straightener is great I was afraid it would damage my beard hair but even on the highest setting it's fine. Everything else, however, you should just throw in the trash. The beard comb is plastic, the oil and balm are terrible. Better use coconut oil (and it will smell better). (So far) Good product, bad add-ons.

I've wanted to try the comb straightener for a long time and didn't want to pay a lot for it. I paid $10 for it back then and it's a very efficient device. My beard isn't too long, but sometimes it's a bit frizzy and I wanted a straighter look. It works. There are 3 temperature settings and sometimes it smells a bit because it burns the hair, but other than that it works quite well.

I had three of these glands. The first was the battery, which was only enough for 3 uses. Died after 2 years. Cost $$$. Then I bought a plug and 1/2 of the bristles are heated and 1/2 are just hard pins. worked fine but the pins were starting to break. maybe heat fatigue? Not a bad price. I see the problem in old technologies being used for "new” ideas. MEN have not traditionally used straighteners, so they usually don't know what technology is used in modern heating devices that women have. You need to add heat for dry brittle hair especially my 4c black hair that has already turned into a jungle and you need to know what you are doing , or you will screw it up. The beard straightener worked but it dries out the beard but again they are supposed to prep your hair with preventive heat damage so it might still work but if you do this do it for the length which means some of you would do this every day, if that was the case your beard would be gone in a month.
