I purchased these for my wedding flowers. They came in protective wrapping, with the stems curved up and held in place with a zip tie. The stems were much too long for a bouquet, so I cut them. I used regular scissors, but would suggest using a wire cutter for safety and ease. Once I cut them, I used a blow dryer, as suggested, to fluff them - which worked. I looked up sewing instructions to make my own cover but then I saw this one on Best Buy for a great price and took a chance. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality (it is a sturdy fabric and the stitching is all well done), especially for the price. There are pockets, but I don't use those. This is a beautiful dress and could ultimately be quite comfortable.
