The case is definitely strong and durable and easy enough to assemble as far as cases go. However the built in screen protector is extremely flimsy, thinner than paper. I know if something hit my screen directly my screen will break. The built in screen protector is good to prevent scratches but that is it. With that being said I recommend the case but not the built in screen protector I will be be ordering one separately that has the tempered glass, I have had great luck with them. As far as the fingerprint scanner I don't know why other people have had trouble mine works just fine with the case. The case fits perfectly to the phone and definitely adequately protects it comes over the edges of the screen nicely. Besides the built-in screen protector my only other regret is that this does not also come with a carry case with belt clip. Other than that absolutely love the case it's sturdiness and believe it will serve my phone well also love the fact that they send out a raised edge for the case in case you want to add your own screen protector that's a great bonus. Overall I highly recommend.
