Replaced Ipad Screen
I'm having trouble reconnecting the home button to my iPad. The latch seemed to break on my iPad when I unplugged the home button connector. I am aware that the home button is not compatible with my Ipad 8 as it has fingerprint protection. Since I couldn't get the home button to work, I was about to throw my iPad in the trash. Luckily I googled youtube and found a link showing how to bypass the home button and create a widows settings/accessibility button. The iPad home button has been disabled. The Widows Home key icon works like a charm.
