Phael Digitizer Replacement PreInstalled Adhesive Tablet Replacement Parts Review

After tripping and stepping on my iPad I replaced the screen/digitizer. Works perfect. Due to my often clumsy nature, I bought another repair kit. Just in case!

Replaced a 2017 iPad screen that a kid jumped on (sigh), this kit worked as expected. For an aftermarket kit, the quality is pretty good. The tools that come with it are pretty decent, touchscreen and a good replacement. YouTube videos can go through the details, not very easy but manageable.

I bought 2 of these and both times the home button doesn't stay in place. It moves under the screen and just doesn't align. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I asked for a silver button and got a gold button? Home buttons are NOT fingerprint compatible.

Works very well. It takes a bit of skill to change screens, especially when your old screen is completely destroyed. I recommend that you use a heat gun to remove the old glue. The replacement screen needs a better splice where the ribbon cables connect. He wants to break up at this place.

installed and a month later the screen cracked again. A small line running across the screen. The glue is not strong enough, you may need to buy glue. The fingerprint digitizer did not connect properly. Overall it was easy to install and inexpensive, I didn't have to spend money in a workshop.

Everything works great! Only had a small issue with the Phillips screwdriver, it's very small and easy to get an extra one on the strip or order an extra one. Otherwise everything worked as it should, the screen on my iPad looks amazing. The package is great too. Everything was great except for the Phillips screwdriver!

The two connectors that connect to the digital board are not identical to the original factory connectors. These end tabs for T panel kit connectors have plastic tabs instead of metal tabs. These tabs are needed to lock the connectors. The original factory plugs made of metal snapped into place without any problems. I gave up after trying to lock the kit connectors for two hours.

I'm in the renovation business. The firm is this rubbish, the cables are bent under the screens they protect, and that's hauntingly touching after a day of installation. I understand this happens and broken screens happen, but there is no quality control and no issue to speak of. The only reason this company is making sales is because they are legitimate, otherwise they wouldn't be able to.

The screen looked good and clear, the screen was installed, the adhesive barely stuck to the right side, it's a very weak adhesive. Then, after about 20 minutes, the screen started spooky touching and going insane. I emailed T Phael, he told me to remove the screen and wipe the ports with alcohol, did nothing except make things worse. The entire bottom half of the screen wasn't even responsive at that moment. I have contacted T Phael again for a replacement, he tells me to contact Amazon…
