Review on HP 15 Ef1300Wm 3 3250 Silver Windows by Ahmad ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

I bought an HP 15s-eq0080ur model with AMD Ryzen 5 3500u 4Gb RAM and 128Gb SSD based on the calculation to immediately install 2 * 8Gb RAM and my 256Gb SSD. As a result, for me personally, I will send it cheaper than immediately taking the version with 8Gb RAM and 256-512Gb SSD. How to disassemble how this laptop on YouTube already has several videos. Nothing new. We carefully remove two rubber long pads from the bottom, unscrew 8 bolts, open the laptop and then with any plastic discount card we go around the perimeter, we cut off the back box from the rest of the laptop, the motherboard is screwed to the part on which the keyboard and monitor. Next, we upgrade everything we need and assemble in the reverse order.

Pros
  • - A powerful processor with a video core is more powerful than competitors with i3 and i5 10th and 11th generations; - Light; - Thin; - Fast charging and good battery life; - FullHD 1920*1080; - Narrow screen frames, compared with competitors, often the frames around the screen are much wider, which creates the effect of some kind of screen squeezed from all sides. On the contrary, the screen feels big. - A huge plus for me personally was not only the presence of a digital block of buttons on the right on the keyboard, but also the rightmost column of keys with another Enter and a big PLUS, for work I have to type large tables of numbers, so additional Enter as on the original keyboards is Super; - Classic big Shift on the left on the keyboard; - Two full-fledged slots for installing RAM (I don’t know what the max size is and whether they work in channel mode, I installed 16Gb, all 16 work, but I don’t know how to check in channel mode); - M.2 SSD slot, I bought a cheap version with 128Gb SSD, based on the calculation to immediately install 256Gb, because I have a 256Gb M.2 SSD lying around at home. For work, office programs and one small game, 256Gb personally seems to me more than enough. - Win10 Home license from a flash drive out of the box (I didn’t even have to make an installation flash drive with my own hands) was installed with half a kick. There were no problems.
Cons
  • - no backlit keys - SVA matrix (on some sites they write that IPS / TN / VA, but this is not so), not so super saturated colors as on IPS matrices, but better on the head of budget TN and VA. - I didn't really like the location of the connectors. 3.5 Jack on the right, HDMI on the right - in my opinion, everything that implies a wired connection should go to the left of the laptop, and only USB and Card Readers are allowed on the right. Fortunately, charging on the left turns on.

Has pros: Good laptop for the money. The screen is bright. speed of work pleases. Some cons: Due to its light weight, it must be handled with care. Light contact with the screen when the laptop is open can tip over.
