Review on Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 40 mm Wi-Fi NFC RU, vanilla/pink by Dimitar Nikolov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Because of its competitively cheap price in this market area, this particular watch was selected as the best option (I was able to purchase it at a discounted rate of approximately $215 for this model). The Huawei watch GT2 is the product that comes closest to competing with them in terms of affordability. However, it falls short in terms of having fluid animation and being compatible with a Samsung smartphone (after all, the Samsung ecosystem does play a part in this situation). Before I go any further, I want to make it clear that I just use this watch as an accessory and as a companion watch; I do not use it as a fitness tracker. Because of this, I will not be describing anything connected to the sports component of the watch here! Let's start in order: Functionality-wise, it's easier to identify what can't be done here, such as play media files from instant messengers; examine a specific message if there are not one, but multiple; and so on. Those are only two examples. In general, this is not a particularly important point, and if the objective of your assignment is to merely be aware that something has been brought to your attention, then this will enough. In addition, the watch, which includes functions such as the ability to manage the camera, make and receive phone calls, play music, record voice memos, calculate, and set reminders, among other things, does not include a notes capability. Why is it the case? After all, the watch comes equipped with its own keyboard, and it would be a great help to be able to swiftly write anything down or dictate something in order to have the note synchronized with the phone at a later time. But unfortunately, rather than that, you will need to make use of a voice recorder. The system shell - yes, maybe it won't be ideal for someone, but it's enough for me that it doesn't freeze, doesn't lag, and when working with it, the FPS doesn't decline, as in Chinese counterparts, and let us sacrifice the time of use, but I personally am ready to tolerate it. Yes, maybe it won't be ideal for someone. Yes, maybe it won't be ideal for someone. Since we arrived at the battery without any problems, I'll only say a few things about it. The battery will endure for a day and a half of vigorous use using the sensors that are included in the package. They are sufficient for me for more than two full days (from 100% down to 20%) with the way that I use them (geolocation, AOD, heart rate measurement, and automatic detection of exercises all switched off). Continued below in the comment section...

Pros
  • - Design (in a subjective sense); - Functionality; - System shell; - Battery (for my use case); - Synchronization with a smartphone (a Samsung S9) in particular.
Cons
  • - The original strap; - The screen is not covered in any manner, and it is recommended that you get some type of film or protective cover for them as soon as possible; - The pedometer's lack of reliability; - There is no pulse oximeter; - There is not enough room for comprehensive customization and a wide range of configuration variations. More information regarding anything can be found in the comments.
