When I ordered this coat I really thought I would just gift it to my teenage niece. On the internet it looked like a fancy part with no real use. It's a pretty decent coat in real life, I'll admit I'm surprised and considering keeping it. I wouldn't climb Everest with it, but it definitely withstands a certain heat. The wrists and hem have an elastic band to keep it snug to the body. The filling is fluffy and light. There is a size chart, but I don't know my exact measurements, so I can't tell if it's accurate or not. I suggest ordering a size up, if you're between sizes this coat runs small. I'm medium to tall (145#, 5ft 6in) and tend to go large for winter coats. I have a medium and it suits me but doesn't leave much room for layering. The cut is very pretty and feminine, but I would have liked a bigger one. The fur on the hood is detachable, just unzip the hood. The fur of my coat doesn't shed, but it's very plastic. If you've washed or dried this type of faux fur before, you know that it gets tangled as it washes and dries. So don't wash the fur or it will turn gold, and I mean REALLY GOLD. Not shiny but a great bold golden colour. The fabric of the coat isn't great, but I'm not disappointed in either the fabric or the construction. The lining of the coat is also not very high quality, but should hold up. So if you are looking for a fun coat that can actually be worn in cold weather, I would advise you to drop the caution and order this coat. This coat might not last more than one season, but you'll probably get a decent run in one season. I'm new to posting photos so I hope this review was helpful!
