Poor quality, good for CFLs

Horribly uneven light output from bulb to bulb, not suitable for the fixture. Bad quality control. Tempting to come back but not even worth the time for $7.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Very expensive

Broke immediately after installation

Not very practical packaging. Expect to have to disassemble the entire package to remove a lightbulb. Furthermore, the very first lightbulb, straight out of the box, broke when screwing it in. I have not mishandled the pear in any way. They are very poorly made.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • Negative impression

Full slow light

The light is bright. In summary. If it had been 8 years ago this would have been acceptable but with updates to CFL technology this is no longer the case. Personally, I wouldn't pay attention to the fact that 3 out of 4 bulbs emit an audible hum after warming up (after 6-7 minutes).

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Upgrades

Very short life compared to other brands

Was pretty excited about the price of these bulbs in bulk. I use CFL 23 bulbs in all rooms of the house, about fifteen bulbs a day. I have advanced kidney failure and changing lightbulbs is a real hassle. Also, I had to save money. The first bulb lasted about 4 weeks. When removed from the mount, the base was dangerously hot. I'm a retired fire chief, and things like this quickly grab my attention. The second bulb lived about six weeks and exploded. I woke up from this and, with the help of…

broken and cracked.

First experiences with this product: bad Reason: once torn and once defective. one I wanted over 1500 lumens x 2 for I've never bought one of those twisted eco lightbulbs before; so i figured this would be an opportunity to compare with my leds - at least until the federal government orders the plebs back to moonlight. Revain delivered the order well packaged and yet one of the lamps cracked when opening. I'm assuming it came from the factory as the packaging was intact; with a touch of…

Excellent product with a small flaw

These bulbs do everything they are supposed to do and I appreciate the fact that they came in a pack of four as many others come with either two or more bulbs than I need. I had three lights that needed matching bulbs and the 4 piece set did the job perfectly. The color temperature of the bulb is almost the same as a soft white incandescent bulb and since the bulbs are inside the fixture you cannot tell from the outside that they are CFL bulbs. The only caveat I would like to make is that these

Nice color but too big for the lampshade

Recently I bought a lot of lightbulbs. I looked at many CFLs to find the right color temperature and wattage. What I didn't realize was that the Sylvanias are nice and stocky while these Ecosmarts are medium length and Feits are tall and long and all have the same wattage. That was the difference between fitting into my lamp without touching the lampshade and not. In addition, there is such a tiny inscription on Ecosmart that without taking out the light bulb and looking closely, you cannot…
