A good thing. Non-conductive and easy to apply, making it easy for beginners.

The product itself is excellent although I did not receive the type I ordered. I got the MX-2 instead of the MX-4 but it still worked. This material is non-conductive, which means that if you pinch a small piece of material at the edge, you won't short out anything. Just wipe with a clean cloth and don't worry. If your computer is 8 years or older and you haven't cleaned the heatsink/CPU fan and replaced the thermal paste, this material is a good choice for the hassle. This can make a big difference.
