only the front of the shirt is lined, otherwise it's very sheer. I dont' know why but I bought an extra large and I could prob have fit into a medium. It seems to run big in the torso. I am 5 9" and have about a 36" torso and usually choose M/L on the Large size in clothes because I don't like them too tight. It's pretty, I got the yellow. I think I might return it for a smaller size, and a lighter color.
