Review on (Renewed) Apple MacBook Air MD711LL/A 11.6-inch Laptop - Intel Core i5 1.3GHz - 4GB RAM - 128GB SSD: Refurbished MacBook Air with Intel Core i5 Processor, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SSD by Jnis Krmi ᠌

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

For me, the decisive factors were power and weight: I have to constantly carry a computer with sound processing programs on my hump, which simply do not go on netbooks of comparable weight. In this aspect, I am completely satisfied. On the other hand, if extra three hundred grams is not a problem, and show-offs do not matter, you can choose a model with similar characteristics, but cheaper and more familiar. I advise all buyers to remember that when buying a Mac, you also buy MacOS, and that reinstalling the system is a separate headache, and the virtual machine eats energy and speed like a greedy gremlin.

Pros
  • - operating system - dimensions and weight, design - battery (fully charged in less than two hours, holds a charge up to ten hours) - a great big touchpad (the first laptop in my life that you can really work without a mouse) - power - goodies like magnetic charging and recess for easy opening
Cons
  • - operating system - keyboard: unusually placed comma and period, unusually small Enter, lack of the Del key, "Ё" in a strange place and other unpleasant things (for example, I did not find an asterisk in the 2022 layout). You can get used to it, but if you have to constantly change from Mac to something else, the brain swells - Wi-Fi (shocked: almost worse than on my stupid phone for four thousand. One wall - no network. Through a wooden door it catches with pain. Even if you sit right next to the router, the network is periodically lost for unknown reasons)
