The panel is as advertised but for some reason I still expected it to be better than it is. It's as small as the switch plates, so don't try to use it to cover up imperfections from an old plate or wall damage. It's covered in a sheet of plastic, presumably heat treated to roll up the plate (similar to Easter egg wrapper, but the plastic is a little heavier). If it was for a room other than the kids room I would send it back. I think I was expecting it to look more like enamel and it really just looks cheap. If it holds up, I'll be very surprised. Right now my kids will love the dinosaur theme! I feel like I paid too much for this one - $6-8 in my opinion, well worth it.
