This speaker cannot be used simultaneously with normal computer speakers. This was a major disappointment for me as I was hoping to hear continuous music while getting ready for work in the morning and pacing between rooms. Windows also doesn't make it easy to switch between using a PC and using a wireless speaker. The second problem can be solved with this shortcut tool called "Install Sound Device" [.] but you still need to stop and start the music playing again. From a technical point of view these problems are really in Windows 7 and not in the speaker itself. This speaker produces really good sound from a small portable box and gives you several options to improve your sound if you go to the control panel and see it in the sound settings. It can still be a very good portable speaker if you can accept the limitations, but it definitely won't help you get multi-room audio. According to Logitech's web forums, this is an inherent limitation of how Windows 7 works with USB or Bluetooth audio devices, so I don't think I'll buy another external audio device that uses USB audio or a wireless USB adapter.
