I bought these to replace a pair of Beatx headphones I used to use. Overall they work well and give a pretty good Beatsx feel. A few things I like best about beatsx - The buttons feel a lot nicer and are easier to use - the buttons on this one are quite big and chunky. It takes a lot to put down the right thing. It's a little tricky to get the center button held down correctly to turn it on and off or put it in pairing mode. The earbuds have a cover over the charging port (micro USB) which is a bit annoying and in the way and likely to break in the future. beatx doesn't have that annoying cap and I see that as an advantage. Bluetooth isn't as good as beatsx - also with beatx everything I hear stops automatically if I go out of range, but with them it keeps playing what I'm hearing but with a bunch of interference getting in the way of sound. I also found that the cord between the two earbuds is too short for my liking and seems to be constantly being pulled by something. I miss the punchy bass that I love on Beatsx and also in the sound department. Beatsx are better for these types of Bluetooth headphones in my opinion, but they also cost at least half as much. Also, I don't know about the longevity of the creative outburst. However, my first pair of Beatsx eventually died and wouldn't turn on or charge. Of course, this was after the warranty expired. The second pair still works for me, but the indicator that they're on no longer works. Beatx's lack of staying power prompted me to try another brand. If I had to buy another pair I would consider getting an updated version of beatsx from Amazon for almost the same price as these although you know they only have a 90 day guarantee but it's easy to buy an additional 2-year protection from Amazon. .
