Bought this food grade Titanium Dioxide to whiten soap and it's fine except for the fact it DOES NOT DILUTE in oil. It stays lumpy in the oil and just doesn't break down smoothly. I ended up having to add a lot more water to make it decompose. Well if you are a soap maker you know that the water to oil ratio is very important so this made my soap very wet, heavy and dry much longer. For a second or two I thought I'd ruined a large batch of soap (after finally creating the perfect recipe). After all this the color of the soap was still not "white" but more like ivory so the end result wasn't exactly that, what I wanted. I can't say anything about the recommendation "
