The black on the bag bleeds when wet.
I like it very much. I use it as a beach bag. Note that although it's waterproof on the inside, the black handles bleed (a stain on my sweatshirt). I washed mine for 30 minutes and hope this helps. However, this loosened the water seal a bit, but not enough to permanently damage it. I will buy this product again but I will buy a bag with ecru handles.
