I love the compact size of these stands and they work well with laptops (I have a 15" MacBook Pro) and iPad Pro, even larger models. It said I wish I had a larger size for larger devices, but it works well enough. The grips are excellent so far. I don't like the plastic on each handle that I had to peel off, but it's a minor inconvenience when it arrives. Plastic covers are difficult to remove. One downside is that the stand won't fit on your lap without keeping your feet together, but that works well enough, and another workaround is to place the stand on the knee rest, as the grips on the bottom are excellent too, so that's fine the stand does not slide well on plastic and smooth surfaces.
