I ordered 4x and really didn't expect it to fit either top or bottom as in normal clothes I'm 28 bottom and 24 top but to be honest it fits really well. It's firm enough not to fall into the pool but not firm enough to bump into anything. I have terrible luck with swimwear but this one is excellent. The hem comes halfway down my stomach so it covers what I need, the legs are mid-calf (I have huge calves, I can't wear most boots unless they're laced up) but the legs aren't tight at all, so they can be baggy for someone with smaller calves. The top hugs my chest well (I'm a DDD so it can be too big or too small depending on individual needs), it doesn't dig into my armpits and the racerback is comfortable. The hem comes down to about mid-thigh, which means the top and bottom overlap a few inches, which I really appreciate. Overall it stretches a bit so I feel like even if I had ordered a size down I could wear it without too much trouble. I'm glad I ordered 4 though, I like things that fit well but don't pinch or snag so 4 was my choice. I will update if anything changes in it after washing or bathing. but now it's very very good and I'm very glad I found this costume!
