These pants are super cute, made of high quality material and keep my daughter's feet warm while skating. BUT. They are so incredibly attached to her that getting her to divorce is a chore. My daughter is an average of 8 years old (about 60 lbs). The trouser legs, especially the hip area, need to be widened for a better fit. Although they definitely have length! I'm afraid to go up a size because I think they're just longer not wider. All in all these pants would be great for a very very skinny kid. Unfortunately I would not recommend them for an average height child.
