First of all, these hairpins are very nice to look at. For the price, cost-wise, getting four is good, at least I thought so. While these aren't "the most expensive or highest quality hair clips," they are visually beautiful. Unfortunately, they have one major disadvantage. Although I'm not very happy with the "close". This is a click/latch type. That in itself would be good. However, it is NOT as well made as the more expensive and I would say better quality hair clips. It totally snags and clips when you close or open it and I've had a very hard time trying to get the clip out of my hair every time. It actually "got stuck in my hair" and after a few minutes I finally pulled it out of my hair. (Actually, it took about a minute and a half.) It's still too long to pull off a simple bobby pin! I would give at least four stars but should have given less for the reasons above. It would be awkward to return them, so I'll reluctantly keep them to myself. I will probably use them for crafting and NOT in my hair. They are not worth the lower cost, irritation or twitching of your hair. I assure you.
