My biggest gripe with crossbody packs is that the pockets can be buttoned up or simply unfolded. This bag has zippers for each compartment and has many compartments. Faux leather is pretty good, it looks like real leather but doesn't feel like real leather. The inner lining consists of polyester stitched compartments, they are about the same as other bags of this style. The main pocket has 2 additional zipped compartments and plenty of pockets for small items. The zip compartment inside the zip compartment is where my wallet is kept when traveling. (And I'm almost tied to the bag itself). The bag also comes with an optional shoulder strap so it can easily be carried over the shoulder without resorting to one of the rear carry straps. I gave this bag 5 stars mainly because of all those great zippers and lots of pockets. This could be a great college bag. The computer slot closes with a zipper and offers plenty of space. You could fit a book or two in it, but a separate book bag is needed if you have multiple classes in a row (and need to roam around campus). For those times when you need a nice bag but need something you can fiddle around without worrying about it.
