Vinyl is new to me but this stuff seems a little light to me , a little thin. I bought a 12x36" roll of local Joanns in brown and it seemed thicker and looked better on the shirt. I will say that the piece I did with this black vinyl was a 1/4" outline of some text that was crumpled when clothing was wrinkled or warped. It wasn't permanent or damaged, but it looked like it wasn't going to be maintained for some reason. I didn't let it die full 24 hours after applying to be fair so it might have something to do with that.
