If you can get them to work, they look great as a little highlight. You ONLY need to screw the bulb in CORRECTLY for it to work. If you are not perfectly aligned (which is very easy) the light will be off or the light will be very dim. I recommend setting them all up for the timer function on your counter or table before placing them by windows - that way you can make sure they are all set correctly and turning on and off at the same time night after night . I had them for 4 nights and had to put 3 of them back on the window because the suction cup failed.
