I usually order 10 foot USB cables. Regular length cables (about 6 feet) work well, but if you tend to use longer cables, they may be too small for your application. The front pocket has room for longer cables, as does the back pocket, but there are a few smaller pockets that only fit shorter, regular-length cables. The case itself is a little thin, but it's not advertised as a hard case. Make sure you don't mind if the suitcase is filled. Having used this, although it works well and everything seems to fit perfectly, I'll probably order a hard case for a little extra protection. I was able to slip a 5V 1A charger (an older, smaller iPhone device) into one of the mesh pockets, but it's not something it's likely to survive being cycled on and off constantly. It's stretched and really doesn't fit the block. I have a hard case that I put a 20,000mah battery and a 20w iphone charger with cable in and they fit very well. I'll see if I can find something similar for all those extra cords I need to take with me when we travel for both of us. Lightning works well - not buggy at all, which is a big plus.
