I bought 2 of these to use with John Deere Electric Gators. I am very pleased with how easy they were to install. The LEDs are bright and easy to read. I'm only giving it one star because I wish it had a separate switch: one for battery level and reading the hours, and then another input to start counting the hour meter. As this counter is designed to start the hour counter as soon as voltage is applied to the input. The previous hour meter on our cart (electric cart) only started counting hours when the motor relay was on - this allows for a more accurate reading of cart usage. With just one entry you can also count the idling and the mileage of the car. Again, the meter works as intended and I'm happy with it (especially for the price), but adding that separate input would make it a little better.
