I have antique chairs with horsehair upholstery attached in mahogany INSIDE with feathers and 'interesting' stuffing. expensive and difficult replacement problem! These cases are wonderful, they look very nice and fit perfectly. A NOTICE! ALL complain about the gap in the back. All it takes is Velcro on each side or snaps attached to close the gap. This is my next project for a rainy day. I also bought extra covers for my chairs knowing they wouldn't fit. I think a few new stitches and then some good snips with my scissors and my problem will be solved. I'LL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT WORKS! UPDATE: 10/19/20 I've added Velcro to the ovals (bought through Revain!), 2 on each back flap and they tightened the gap in the fabric perfectly. also passed the chair seat test! Until now, they haven't come up with an easy "fix" for chairs! I'm ready to take advice!
