You forgot to mention that chairs should have open backs! My chairs have 5 vertical slots in the back so there is no room to stretch material through and fasten in the front.

I have steamed and cleaned dining chair cushions and nothing makes them look clean. I was looking for pillowcases and finally found them. My pillow is 21 inches wide at its widest point and most only fit up to 18 inches. They were so easy to put on and the fabric is smooth, silky and thick enough that the lighter color of the pillow underneath doesn't show.

They match our dining chairs perfectly. I wish there were more color options to better suit our decor but I'd rather have secure seats than nothing at all with a 7 year old fussy eater. Easy to put on, although I wish the straps were flat rather than twisted. It's under the seat so no one will know and could be user error although I've tried everything I can and haven't found a way to close them without twisting.

I'm so disappointed. I read a lot of good reviews before I ordered it. They arrived very quickly. However, the first 2 packs I opened were too small to climb over the chair seat. The second fit, but the elastic was stretched to the limit (I'm sure I'd tear quickly in use) and the material was see-through allowing for stains on the cushion to be seen, which didn't rub off, on top of that, the clips for attaching the cover were turned upside down so you couldn't even fasten them! I have antique chairs with horsehair upholstery attached in mahogany INSIDE with feathers and 'interesting' stuffing. expensive and difficult replacement problem! These cases are wonderful, they look very nice and fit perfectly. A NOTICE! ALL complain about the gap in the back. All it takes is Velcro on each side or snaps attached to close the gap.
