So if you must wear a mask and aren't concerned with how well it protects you from the weather, this mask is for you. Not to say it doesn't stop you from lunging things you don't need, but it wasn't something I was necessarily looking for, so I didn't look too closely at the specs. In other words, protection wasn't my primary concern. I wanted something lightweight that I could put out 7.5 hours a day and that was a cheap alternative to the more expensive, made-to-order, breathable cloth masks. When opened, it smells strongly of chemicals. So I took about ten out of the pack, opened it up a bit and hung them all on a hanger (like how I store my clothes). The smell went away after about an hour. Is something that causes this smell still intertwined with the mask? will you breathe it in Who knows. I wore it all day and didn't notice any headaches or anything, so I'm guessing there's nothing wrong with it, but who knows for sure. All I know is that this will be my mask if I have to wear it for hours and I do it more to play by the rules and I don't care what protection it offers. Not to say that it offers nothing, but its comfort is all I care about and this model is for you!
