The price we paid for this frame exceeded our expectations. The frame came in two boxes with clear instructions that two people can assemble in 1 1/2 hours. I assembled it piece by piece, all parts were well marked with stickers and you only need the Allen key from the kit. to put it together. The wrench is very small and a bit awkward to use. So if you have hex bits for a drill, I recommend using that. Although it looks a bit sketchy when assembled, it's a very solid frame. The upholstery is the same as in the pictures. This frame is very pretty and goes well with our space. The only downside is that the head of the bed is not as high as I would like and is quite low. I'm 5'11" and standing next to the bed it comes to mid-thigh with a 12" mattress and no box spring. We are very very happy with this purchase. I would recommend it to everyone.
