They hold the grid I put a lot of pressure on my shoes and they seem ok if you're not ok with the elastics already sewn on your shoes then need to take them off and replace them. I use them every day and now I love them, they work great, they are the same size as your tennis shoes. Love them, they work just as well as some of the more expensive brands I own. have been dancing for 8 years now and they work very well for the price, enjoy dancing!
