My transmission temperature dropped between 30 and 50 degrees.

The transmission temperature has dropped between 30 and 50 degrees. Climbing a mountain and towing my 32 foot trailer before the transmission hit about 230 degrees. Dragged on the same mountain with a new radiator and went to the top of the mountain and the transmission temperature was 190 degrees.
