The sound is really good for the price but the port is terrible. It's so thin that the slightest bump or tug will cause it to fall out of the phone or anywhere else it's plugged into. A 90 degree connector is a good idea, but since the connection isn't tight at all, it's even more prone to loosening. I use them at the gym and the jack falls out every 2 minutes. So I only use them when I'm studying at my desk. When lying in bed, the jack often falls out. This is a deal breaker and for that reason I cannot recommend this product. I don't understand what the manufacturer was thinking. Did you check the connection? The sound quality doesn't matter if the jack falls out and there is no sound. The return period has expired and now I'm stuck on this item. I am very disappointed in this product. Save money and buy something with a reliable connection. Update (July 2019): The jack is even weaker. It no longer stays in my MacBook Pro. Any small movement that causes the cable to move, even slightly, will result in the plug coming out of the laptop just far enough to cut the sound. These headphones are now completely unusable on my MacBook. Another issue is that the audio cuts out when I wear a hat over it. I would not recommend these headphones. The solder joints are not reliable and these headphones are not designed to last more than a year. Update August 2019: Headphones start disconnecting due to damaged input cable. This is what you get when you buy cheap Chinese products. Next time I'll buy Senheisser or Shure. They only lasted 6 months.
