If you like strong water pressure in your shower, don't buy it. It reduces the water pressure on the 1st day and becomes unusable within 2 months. I live in New York and we have very clean water. I installed this system 5 months ago and have had to change the filter twice as it clogs quickly and reduces water pressure drastically. I called 3M and they said the water in New York is clean but the filter has a screen that collects very fine particles and in the Northeast they are known to clog quickly. They strongly recommend a sediment pre-filter if you are considering installing one. Expect to spend around $1,000 on parts and labor if you're considering buying this. I had a whole house carbon filter in my previous home for 20 years and never had this problem. I thought this would save me money and it's costing me a lot more now.
