I bought this for my work to use in an offline data collection system installed in a test car. The card is fast and large enough to log data from the Intrepid Control Systems neoVI Fire. Nothing more to say on this front. It works as intended. In terms of read and write speeds, I must say that this USB adapter helps the card connect to a computer. The map will do its best when it's right in your device. When reading data from a card or adding data through a USB adapter, this Lexar adapter is the fastest I've ever used. As already mentioned, this product was purchased for use in a data logger. The writing speed was important in order to be able to capture data packets. Extracting gigabytes of data from a car is also a necessity and a waste of time. So I tested the read and write speeds with Crystal Disk. Comparison was performed using SanDisk microSD cards and Rosewill USB 3 adapter/reader provided by the registrar vendor. This Lexar microSD was faster than the SanDisk cards, which is to be expected given the higher speed rating. What I didn't expect was that every card I tested, Lexar or SanDisk, showed faster read and write speeds with the Lexar adapter than with the Rosewill adapter.
