Pros: Cheap, fairly accurate, easy to use and read. Cons: Cheap, poor quality control. I liked these scales because they were gray; A nice contrasting color shows fewer marks. Plus, it was almost the same as the more expensive models. Well, the low price has its downsides. It failed within 36 hours. I asked for a replacement and it was no problem. Please note that this does not include the cost of shipping the defective device to a UPS branch. The new one came quickly enough and has worked for the last three days. So maybe it will take time; but I will keep the package until after the 30 day return period is over, just in case. I recommend you do the same. However, the light on the digital display is slightly offset from the previous device and does not illuminate the display in the same way. While it's a little annoying, it's not a good reason to return it. However, this indicates a rather sloppy assembly and poor quality control. Like I said, you get what you pay for. If you don't mind taking the time to return one of these for a replacement; This is a reasonable scale at a good price.
