These were essential during our trip to Colorado. I'm pretty sure we wore these almost the entire week (even slept in them a couple of nights). The fleece isn't the kind of fleece you might be used to - it's thin, but very warm and very soft against the skin. The outer material did pill a bit, but you wear it under your clothes, so that's to be expected and not a big deal. I read complaints about the arms and legs being too short - well, it's essentially underwear, it's supposed to fit to your skin. I found the length and fit to be perfect. I cannot recommend this enough.Because this helps me when I'm looking:5'5", 125lbs and an S was perfect
