I love this item! on Hair Care

I'm a natural woman with thick hair with an afro texture. I like this tool because it makes it very easy to separate the hair without breaking it. I don't like using normal combs, except for afro rises. This is because combs break my thin strands even when parted because my hair is so voluminous that it wraps around part of the comb regardless of size. This parting tool goes through my roots with ease and when I slowly lift it, its woody texture allows my hair to slide through my teeth and not snag. This is a fantastic tool that I plan to use for a long time. Note: This comb doesn't have pointed ends so may not be ideal for a clean parting, but I have very thick hair and don't need precision. because the parts are closed at the end anyway. If I choose the middle part it looks evenly divided and if there are any imperfections they don't show up sharply. I often wear my hair down and do free twistouts, braids and the like. I only detangle my hair with my fingers so this brush goes well with my curl regimen.

Pros
  • Made from reclaimed hardwood makes a strong comb and resists tangling
Cons
  • Exchangeable
