In theory this dock should work fine for my working MacBook Pro. And it's very nice when it works properly. Unfortunately, it often doesn't work properly. The secondary display continues to flash on and off for several days. Sometimes some USB devices are not recognized. Sometimes both. I usually have to fiddle with the connectivity for a while, unplugging and plugging the dock back in, or unplugging and plugging in peripherals connected to the dock before things settle down and get things working. What kind wins the essence of the docking station. I contacted Ikling twice through their website and asked questions about these issues. In no case did they give me an answer. I would be happy about this docking station. But it's hard to love when both the product and the company behind it have proven unreliable.
