does not work for audio/video accessories

I love every Blackmagic device I own except this one. I tried to convert 1080i from my Panasonic camcorder but it didn't work, no picture at all. I've tried downgrading and upgrading branded cables but no luck, thanks to AMAZON they got my money back and I added $50 and bought AJA HA5 HDMI to SD / HD-SDI video and audio http://www. amazon.com/gp/product /B0030D425S/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_7 it's just plug and play WALLA amazing crystal crystal
