Review on Magnus VT 4000 Professional Performance Tripod by James Brault

I bought it based on reviews, not looking for it. But it was a fantastic video tripod. I mainly use it with Sony Handycam. Beautiful smooth pans in all directions. I like the adjustable head because I know what's down and no longer have to fiddle with each leg to level the tripod. The only downside to this design is that the head doesn't rise further from the top. Once your legs are fully extended, you cannot go any higher. It's a bit heavy, but it's enough for what I do. The bag that comes with it is very nice, durable but without padding. There is no adjustment in the spreader (?) in the middle, it just unfolds. The leg supports are very good and seem to hold up well when I can't fully straighten my legs. This is all due to the construction of this tripod, so I still give 5 stars, I will buy again.
