Edit (June 29, 2020) - Reviews appear to be fixed. Just jump to the review below. I ordered the product on 06/20/2020. Back then it had the only 5 star rating with customer pictures. Despite the unanimous review, I chose this product over other similar products due to the similar design and lower price of $44, other brands cost $50-65. I received the product on June 23rd, tested it for a few days and decided to return it on June 27th (reasons are listed below). That day, I saw that this product has 1312 reviews with an overall rating of 4.8 stars, which confused me. Looking at customer pictures and some reviews I found that some of them were for a desktop organizer/holder which severely skewed the reviews. I doubt this is manipulation on the seller's part, but I suspect it's a bug in the algorithms or machine learning models on which the ratings are calculated. Now for the product review. PROS+ Very light. Easy to move and operate + silent fan. + The leg links are easy to adjust (doesn't require too much effort) and the dials have angled markers so you don't have to guess at the adjustment. CONS: I expected better build quality at this price point. Point. The metal finish is okay, but the plastic parts feel cheap. The legs are made of hollow metal with plastic connectors which are very fragile and give the product a light weight. This light weight is a downside as it lacks stability, especially when used on a bed or other soft surface. Many possible configurations for positions, remember that there are six joints of the legs in total (three on each side). This leads to several adjustments to be made to find the optimal position.- If a configuration fits device (laptop/tablet) + location (bed/table/sofa), switching to another configuration takes some time and Fumbling.- Each configuration moves the center of gravity, and once you've placed your device, it may tip over and may need further adjustment. The dual fans blow air into the back of the laptop and keep heat out through the bottom. Conclusion β Overpriced and weak design. This does not meet my needs, but may meet some people's needs. The better quality of the product (heavier legs for a more toned feel) might make up for some of the shortcomings.
