Remote worked properly with Apple TV out of the box - four cursors, the arrows around the OK button work much better than the Apple Touch Bar, and the OK button is much more reliable and predictable than tapping the Touch Bar. The Touchpad Remote also has forward and backward buttons that perform the "15 Skip Seconds" and "Skip Back 15 Seconds". And there is a MUTE button! Hooray! Best of all, the remote control is big enough not to fall through the cracks in the sofa cushions and slide onto the floor. After a bit of searching for the right codes (it took a bit of patience), we found that the power button, volume button, and mute button can be programmed to work with either our TV or soundbar. My only concern is that I wish the remote could be programmed to send "on" and "off" signals to the TV and soundbar simultaneously (which seems impossible). The BOSE remote that came with our soundbar can do this, which is why we still keep it on the coffee table to turn the TV and soundbar combo on and off. Definitely worth its price. However, shipping is very slow - be prepared to wait a while for it to arrive.
