When this ironing board cover arrived I was blown away by how small it was. However, the dimensions (as listed) were just the right size for my board. And guess what, it's absolutely perfect for my board. I haven't ironed since I got it, but I can say that smoothing out wrinkles is much easier with a thick pad. Because the lid seals the back and padding, there's no slipping. A problem I've encountered in the past. It's definitely worth it!
