This product should be recalled - ice cubes leave a disgusting residue and film residue on glass walls! After reading other reviews (some remarked that the ice left a film on the glass and some people said there was no film) I took a chance and bought the ice cube anyway because the shape of the ice was so cute . First, I carefully hand washed the icemaker tray in warm, soapy water, thoroughly cleaning the space inside each ice cube. Then I made a test batch of ice cream with filtered water and melted the ice cream in a glass. As the ice melted, I noticed small white dots floating in the water that left a white film residue on the glass as the water ran out. Okay, I might need to wash the icemaker bowl a bit, it's new after all. So this time I washed it in the dishwasher again and made another test load of ice cream. Everything is the same - the ice left a white coating on the glass. In the attached photo, melted ice is poured after the second wash in the dishwasher. I will try to return the product - I do not put this ice in my drinks under any circumstances.
