Well, I certainly didn't expect to use this weather radio right away! I received it in an "emergency". And we always think emergencies are far from events. The radio comes with a USB charging cable, a small built in solar panel if you want to charge outside, a lightning adapter, instructions and everything you really need to make it an absolutely useful tool in the event of a weather emergency. I live outside of Nashville and we had an emergency over the week of Christmas that cut most communications throughout the area. I already had the radio charged when I got it and was able to use the radio to receive the news. There was still power so I didn't have to power the devices but it was great to have transmitters to get the news when all our phones and TVs were off. Not only does the radio broadcast stations, it also has charging ports for small items like phones and a flashlight with several different settings. I like it and plan on getting another one to carry around in the car. This is a great article - highly recommended.
