I bought it to replace my Nordman 7 with studded grips. The Nordman only failed for a season, and I had to travel to Poland for the holidays because I couldn't travel there on studded tires. I initially considered borrowing a car with Velcro from a family member, but then I realized that I had gone with Velcro in the past and hadn't had grief, and for some reason I changed to spikes. The rubber was like new, and all the spikes were in place, so I decided to mix business with pleasure and go back to Velcro. I got a new BF Goodrich and sold it to Nordman. Despite not having driven for a long time, I've managed to clock in 4000 kilometers. The overall impressions are positive, and I'm glad I went back to the Velcro after the spikes for some peace and comfort. There were snowfalls, rains, frosts, ice, and dry asphalt on the route to Poland, but everywhere the rubber showed itself normally, driving wasn't dangerous. When driving gougingly on ice, it will likely be worse than when the tires are studded, so you must keep your head on. Only Velcro with a winter like this one in St. Petersburg.
