They're not even functional

Look cheap and not functional. The jars themselves have grooved holes on the outside (to allow the lids to be screwed on), but there are no grooves on the inside of the lids for screwing onto the jar! How pointless is that? So basically it's just a lid that's put on a screw-top jar (which can't be unscrewed). So if someone lifts the jar off the lid (assuming the lid is screwed on) the lid will just come off without the jar (and hopefully the jar won't fall off and break in the process). Such a waste.
